Why is a man interested in "other woman" even though his wife is better than her?

Men fool around with other women because of how they feel about themselves with that other person. It doesn't matter if the wife is better looking or more successful. If she doesn't take care of ALL of her husbands needs and he feels like he isn't getting his "respect" and his ego isn't being stroked by her then he will go be with the one that makes him feel like a champ. While it isn't a justification for infidelity ; it nevertheless is the usual culprit. He is getting something from the other woman that he just isn't getting at home and that isn't always sex.

A woman who will sleep with a married man is always a downstep. There are actually statistics that back this up.

Read a book by Dr. Frank Pittman called "Private Lies", he explains some of the reasons a married man will choose a woman who doesn't measure up to the wife in all kinds of ways such as Looks/Beauty, Self-Sufficiency, Intelligence/Brains, etc.

Usually the husband has gotten to the point where he is intimidated by his wife and feels she no longer needs him, and some loser comes along and he gets it in his head that she's some "Damsel in Distress" and he thinks he can save her -- a nice boost to his flagging ego, but in reality she's just a Dumbsel trying to get what was never hers.

That's why men almost always go back to their beautiful wives whom they truly love.

Been all through that with my hubby, and guess what? He loves me more than ever. I forgave him and I am happy.

It's the excitement of an illicit relationship. Best for him to get his **** together before he stuffs up his marriage. Marriages get a bit stale and boring and an affair really perks things up, but comes with grave risks to the marriage. Not the least risk is that even if the affair is not discovered by the wife the marriage relationship is downgraded in the man's mind and ends up realising sort of a self fulfilling prophesy. He then ends up replacing a good relationship with a nice woman with a lesser one with a not so nice one, and in the process causing a lot of pain, not the least for himself.

Sometimes it`s just the thrill of the hunt.A man may love his wife dearly,but just mess around for the thrill of the chase.It`s very wrong and he needs to get his priorities straight,but that is often the reason.There ya go.

It has nothing to do with whom is better>its all in the mans mental state and not being a person with morale's or integrity.

No self respect or respect for others.
The Man himself is not thinking and doest deserve either one, the only woman in his life at this time should be a therapist.

A woman will have an affair because she isn't getting something from her husband i.e. Sex, conversation, love, attention, compliments etc etc

A man will have an affair because he can, there is no particular reason for it other than that woman's legs were open.
