Graveyard of Fireflies...one of the saddest and most dramatic anime movies of all time *that and Barefoot Gen*. It's the story of this boy and his little sister and what happens to them during the final days of WWII Japan *def a two tissue box movie* It's not that recent but I always watch it when I get a little down in the dumps *always violently reminds me that someone always has it worse that I do and that I need to snap out of it*

There's a lot of good ones. Some of my favorite Asian ones include Spirited Away and the Cowboy Bebop movie. Some of my other favorites include Heavy Metal, Fantastic Planet, and Fritz the Cat.

Watership Down. It's an amazing film. I was absolutely terrified of General Woodwort when I was a kid, but it's a really beautifully made movie.

For sheer cartooning brilliance, Cars would rate at the top of the list.
Best of all time? Shrek2 was hilarious.
