I treat them the same way I treat anyone else - I respect them and value them as other human beings, but keep my money to myself.

Are you asking advise or wondering what other people do in this situation? Personally, I just accept the fact that we are all human. those "vagrants" may not have made or be making the best choices in life but is there something you can do about it? If you think giving them a buck or two helps then do it. If not then dont. I mean what if they go buy booz with it? what else are they gonna do save the money for a new toaster oven? I guess if they are truel un happy where they are they would find a way out.

I used to pass or see bunches of homless or poor people everyday omw to work. Some i would give money too, like the musicians or veterans and some I would just pass by. I cant afford to give out money everyday though.
