I have a fairly large broadleaved tree in my garden that I want to decorate with fairy lights. The most I can find on an outdoor set is 300. Think I would need substantially more than that. Does anyone know where I could get these (live in N Ireland so may need websites) or have any experience / advice you could share with me on this subject?

Thanks

You might want to consider commercial lighting. You can probably get longer strands at high quality. The price may be higher but christmas lighting is an investment and you will have it for a long time. You may want to rent a cherry picker to get the lights up high enough, or call your local town administration and ask how they get the lights on the trees. They may have tong-like tools to reach the tops of the trees. You might even be able to rent from whoever they get their equipment from.

Buy 2 or 3. I love it when people light up their trees - its like The Dorchester Hotel!

Why don't you just buy two or three sets of lights? It'll be safer that way anyway as you won't have so many lights from a single power socket.

maximum exterior / indoor lights furnishings now a days are exceptionally lots the comparable. in case you utilize the huge bulb exterior lights furnishings interior they get particularly heat & can initiate a hearth. in case you electric tape the exterior / indoor lights furnishings plug, so water won't be able to get interior the relationship & you make certain it is on a GFCI / (floor fault secure) circuit / plug, it may actually be basically high quality.
