It is a cheaper alternative to gold, but it's still a nice metal. Also a lot of people suit the colour of silver better than gold. Silver also tends to have a more modern contemporary feel about it than gold. Sterling Silver is good quality silver, marked 925 (being the grade) and makes good quality, long lasting pieces.

Sterling is a great metal and it's currently hotter than ever. The amount and quality of gemstones, precious and semi-precious, that can be found in silver jewelry is phenomenal. You can buy more in silver now than ever before. Sterling silver is still considered to be a precious metal, it's just more readily available that gold, hence the price difference.

Sterling is a great metal. Most of the time fashion jewelry is nickle plated or something like that so if its actually grade sterling its a very decent metal. It can be polished to look like a white gold by the way.

That depends on the quality of the silver and how much is in it. Sterling silver is just silver with other metals added to it to add strength (since silver by itself is very soft...as are gold and platinum).

interior the context of the question that's the two. an editorial this is homogeneous 925 high quality Sterling Silver in the time of may be hallmarked as such, and can wisely be defined exceptionally much as good silver. an editorial this is barely plated with Sterling Silver is heterogeneous, that's a skinny floor coating on a base steel article and can subsequently no longer be hallmarked 925, neither can it is defined exceptionally much as good silver. Britannia Silver (958 high quality), Silver money (800 high quality) may be wisely defined exceptionally much as good silver. that's an editorial s shape of homogeneous silver alloy, no longer the main outstanding fineness that counts.
