I mean they're just cliches and general knowledge and irrelevant opinions and even insults just for fun. I rarely get an answer with information I can really use, especially when I'm asking more personal or technical questions. The helpfulness of Yahoo! Answers is very limited.

All the ones that mean something are usually sent a Violation. On here it is like asking a priest for Marriage advice...religious, puritan, virginal, repressed and the fat nerdy bitter harridans, and they are giving advice on sex? marriage? why partners cheat? It is like taking direction from a blind man..........most of the smart ones are leaving this site anyway and soon those left well they will all be sending 'Bless You" and "Wait till the Wedding Night" answers along with "Never do anything you would not want to tell your Mum about."
SO yes.........they are getting more limited each week......this site is on the verge of having run its course leave it to the kids and the weirdo fanatics I mentioned above......

That would be because it's available to anyone who feels like typing out the necessary registration information. I, for one, happen to have a sizable knowledge on computers and I feel that my answers are quite usable. But yes, there is an unfortunate amount of useless answers.

no way .. so many times i get upset and ask a question here and the people are so kind to answer and cheer me up :) i love this site because sometimes i find no one around me to talk to or to ask for advice but reading more than an opinion from different cultures helps me to decide what should i do

The answers don't matter, as long as you can rave on to yourself it's great therapy. Sort of like a free psychiatric consultation with multi - headshrinkers!
