OK, I know there are lots worse off than me, but since the ones I love will all be somewhere else I'm beginning to dread it. How about you?

I feel really bad this year because I just don't feel excited at all and I'm beginning to dread it because I'm under pressure to go to the in-laws and I don't want to. I want to stay at home with our children and have our own christmas day, I'm lucky to have the ones I love around me and I'm still miserable! I hope you have a lovely christmas, maybe with friends at least?

A lot of my friends are dreading it. The cost and commercialism involved has spiralled out of control and the only important thing is receiving presents. We are obsessed with it and yet most of us do not even think about it being the day Jesus was born. I am not a bible thumper, but there are many hypocrites who want to celebrate Xmas but have no interest or belief in Jesus. What is it going to be like when our kids grow up? Well it will still be here but the reason will be forgotten and the greed will take over completely.

I havn't looked forward to Christmas for about 6 years, this one is going to be even worse. I work long hours for enough money to pay my rent and food for my daughter and I, normally I have a little for christmas for a drink and presents for my daughter. This year I'll be lucky if I can get her a card and have a bowl of pasta.
No Im not looking forward to christmas!!!!!!

Not looking forward to it. In the middle of (serious) thinking of divorce. Not wanting to go to the in-laws because I am not crazy about them, and because we are NOT telling them that there is probably going to be a divorce until it starts to happen. I am stressing in the worst way.

I look forward to the wii coming out, which is before Xmas so I'll be far too involved to give it a second thought this year.

I hate Christmas, Its the one time of the year every one gets together and it always ends in fights or slanging matches.

i'm not looking foward to it either, finiancially we are screwed. when i lived with my parents because it was all a big fuss i used to bypass xmas dinner and bugger off to my mates to get drunk. for once i really want to enjoy it for my girlfriends sake. the first person i want her to hug and wish a happy xmas to on christmas morning isn't me but her son who is 100's of miles away and we cant afford to fly him here. my heart goes out to those families ripped off by farepak. santa has nothing for me and i was a good boy this year (honest)
