i've just finished studying multimedia (animation, post -production, EFX etc), 4 years, and all i want to do is go and paint houses. is that ok? Cant i just do that?

Go ahead and do it for a while. I am sure that you will grow over your love for painting houses. You have better options financially if you utilise your college degree. But having said that I would also want to say that you need to first enjoy what you do, money is not everything. There is no point in being rich and unhappy. So go ahead and start painting houses for a while. If you dont grow over it and you are happy you could continue doing that. Just remember one thing if you want to make a living utilizing what you have learnt in your college then you cant be away from it too long before getting back.

yes u can dothat.but u have to communicate the people to do such paintings .firstly try to make sample paints give it to ur friends as ur memory.otherwise u paint for ur relatives and others .contact the people verify the net adresses through google. send mails to the people u know i think multimedia is a very professional course u have done. i think u can search in

You will need to do a painting apprenticeship to be a house painter, but sure, you can do that. No-one can order you to be a graphic artist if you don't want to!

no.. could you imagine yourself getting so tired cause of painting houses?? and yet you'll earn a not-that-high-amount-of-payment for a-whole-day painting-an-enormous-house???!?:( you've finished school.. and that's SOMETHING.. well, actually it is a BIG deal.. so get up.. go on.. and reach the highest dream you could ever dream of!;)

Well, if that is your interest I don't see why you can't work as a house painter. it doesn't required any special certification to be a house painter in SG
