Do you think it would be ok for me to just leave. I live with my boyfriend of 5 years and I have a good family, but I just feel like I am lacking something, something doesn't feel quite right in my life. I thought I could move away, like overseas. Would it be ok to just leave my family and friends a note that says "Don't try to look for me" Just so that they don't think i've been kidnapped and call the police.
Sometimes I just wish I could leave and start a new life.

Tell people this... dont just up and leave... Its a horrid experience for your friends and family.... A few years back i just up and left... i moved to Tokyo and loved it. I got a job at TvTokyo and had alot of fun... But it wasnt long until i got sick of that too... I came home and finally appreciated how wonderful my boring home town was...

I think everyone feels like that at some point in their life,, if you do do it that way, your going to hurt a lot of people and probably hate yourself for it, so you still won;t feel full filled. I often get the shits with life and i say stop the world I'm getting off.Maybe you just need a little holiday, tell your bf and family that you need this time to sort your head out, if they love you they will let you go, remind them of that too, just tell them that and GO.. if you just disappear i think your being a bit too selfish and the consequences of it would be disastrous

no offence babe, but that is a seriously selfish thing to do..if you are not happy in your life or relationship sit down, write a list of what you are not happy with and work out a solution from there..you will need to be brave if that means moving on from your boyfriend etc.. but life is too short to stay with someone out of habit, get happy in yourself, you wont do that by running away, youll just leave pain behind you...good luck

hmmm well that's the safiest thing to do...there would be no warning...so they could not stop you from leaving...but also look for the aftermaths sweety...it would be much harder for you to handle later...uhmmm i think it's better if you'll talk to them...it'll be difficult to do the talking and let them understand you but atleast somehow you'd get their sympathy cause you're you...their love of their lives...they might not understand right away but soon they will

If you feel the need to up and leave(which I think everyone feels at one time or another) then I suggest this...
a. make alist of pros and cons
b.if you do decide to leave then tell them this.(break up with boyfriend, tell family and friends that you love them but need to go fiind yourself)
