I always see kids watching "The Simpson"
but I keep wondering to myself is it good ?
I watched a few, but whats the idea of it !
From my point of view it doesn't make sence, what does it do for our kids ? Do you think its GOOD !

Well maybe if you watch it you'll see what the show is! Anyways the show is harmless and has good lessons in it in fact most youth leaders in the church use examples from the Simpsons so no theres nothing to be worried about,.

I watched it growing up(a lot of the original ones), didn't hurt me. I don't think I really understood a lot of things in it though. I think it's gotten worse though now, I watched one the other day and it was really different from the old ones. I don't really like the simpsons anymore, I'm more into Family Guy as a cartoon show, or just regular tv shows.

The Simpsons is only good for children to watch if they understand the show because it involves alot of intelligent satire hidden within its comical humor.

I don't think it harms them. It's cleverly written so that adults can watch it on a totally different levels from kids. I don't think kids pay that much attention to it anyway, well not what the show is trying to put forward anyway. I've always watched it and I never misbehaved from it or anything. =)

depends how old the kids your talking about.
Ive been watching it for a couple of years and im 14. probably kids around 10+ is ok..

I dont think so. I face it like a serie that shows how the american's change the things to their own benefit, like the episode that Bart goes to Australia and the consulate changes the water's course in bathroom just for them feeling like in home, meaning that they can manipulate the things in their own way.
Try japanese animes, they arent political series, most of time about human values.

It's only good for kids under say 12 if they are the spawn of Satan. Otherwise, fill the hour with a board-game.

the simpsons is not made for kids.
so kids shouldn't be watching it.
the simpsons is rating tv14 ... that means 14 and up.

There are a little contents that not suitable for children. Check the rating. But its always PG (Sort of).

its very cleverly written, some of the jokes work for all but the adult stuff goes over the kids heads without them realising that they missed something
