Whatever you do dont buy a Advent laptop.
they are slow and the battery does'nt last long.
Check out Dell computer's website they have a very good reputation for quality and their prices are quite reasonable.And remember you get what you pay for.

Okay the best value around at the moment is the medion genuine Intel Laptop from Woolworths.

I know what your thinking "Woolworths?", I bought this and its ace. Its a great wireless laptop for £399.

Dont buy Celeron!

Go with an R-60 Thinkpad. The quality is great from Lenovo/IBM. I use dells/HPs/compaqs etc at work, but I really believe that Thinkpads are a solid choice for notebooks.
