go for core 2 duo , its the best

Currently, the Core 2 Duos are outperforming anything that's on the market. That, however, is only until AMD comes out with a response, which will undoubtedly be the better chip (until recently, AMD had been the leader in performance for a relatively long time).

That depends....if you're a gamer...I'll go with the amd but for stability and good name its Intel
The Intel core 2 duo should be the better processor for a laptop
