i just got my allowance a couple of weeks ago from my college worth $1200 and ive been thinking of what should i do with it. There's this latest cellphone ive been dreaming of and ive planned of having it. but my mom said she'd rather want me to buy my own laptop that is useful for my college utilities. so,right now,i dont know which one should i choose. the latest dreamy cellphone or a useful laptop for my studies..bcoz this is my last oppurtunity to have what ive been dreaming of since i was 16.

do what u really want to do with it.... its your money right?? the wise thing will be to save it but... there will always be laptops, n about the phone u want might not be aroudn forever... soo think about it!!

Why not do both?
Amazon and eBay have great deals on laptops where you can get a used/refurbished one for under $500.00. You can then buy you cell phone and maybe have some money left over. Check eBay for the cell phone too...someone may be getting a new model and the one you want could be listed at a great price.

Sorry with mom on this....cell phones are always changing so your new purchase will soon be not so cool. The laptop will last much longer and has many more useful features.
You won't regret it.
