Why is it that if you kill a man in battle its heroic, but when you kill a man in the heat of passion its called murder?

Depends on who you speak to. Anyways being on a battlefield in the heat of battle is heroic just killing someone for banging your with is premediated and is considered murder because you helllo you planned it. Even if you kicked the crap out of the person it is still assault.

Becuase when a fellow soilder kills the enemy in battle,he is looked to as a hero.When O.J. killed his wife and her male friend,he is looked as a murderer.

when you kill a human it's murder, one cannot justify the killing of people for any reason.
