this is deffinetly a true statement. a person with pisces sun and aquarius ascendant will act and be perceived by all to be an aquarius. i know this for a fact cause ive found out from many people what their rising sign is, and these are people that i know. a girl with a aries sun but taurus rising she acts in calm practical manner to everything yet a guy with a gemini sun and aries rising acts impatiently with very intense and fast reactions. if i had to rank the top 3 as a basis for what people think you are it would be 1. rising sign 2. moon 3. sun people will see your emotional state (moon sign) coupled with rising sign the sun sign is the part that is hidden inside you which is your goal in life inner ego. also i have read about which sign rules the planet ruler of your rising sign. for instance the aquarius ascendant planet ruler is uranus and then could be in any signs if in saggiatrius will add traits to your thought process

Your Ascendant or Rising Sign isn't the number one influence on your actions. It is merely how you appear to others. I'm a Scorpio but a Sag rising, so I appear extremely optimistic, bubbly, but calm and composed. On the inside I am very intense, passionate and pessimistic.
