I have. Granted...half of the time, I didn't want to hear what he was saying because it was either too painful or not what I "wanted" to hear, but he was always spot on with everything. And even though he's no longer with me, I still share things with him and I like to think I know what he would say.

Of course not. But I have met people that I admired for their social grace, their tact, and their kindness. People who seem to have the gift of putting others at ease - I think it comes with practice at not being self-absorbed.
