You better go contact live help right away! The whole compromised e-mail is more then likely a scam. Did they ask for your bank acount or credit card number? If they did you got took. Go contact e-bays live help, and cancel any credit card you may have given, and call your bank tomorrow.

Don't respond to any email asking for personal information. You can easily change your password.
Go to Ebay
at top of page click on "site map"
go near the bottom of tthe center column to "personal information"
log in with your old info
change your password

I sincerely hope you didn't reply to the e-mail?

There are so many vindictive people out there that you should only answer questions that appear in your "my messages" on your summary page, anything other than that will mean it wasn't a real E-Bay question.

Good luck :-)
