1. If a guy did not offer his seat on a crowded bus, you make a remark that he is ungentleman? Or if he did not open the door for you?
2. If you have to fall in a line, you will say "Hey, it should be the ladies first".
3. If you are supposed to ride a cab, and then the guy beside you took the cab instead of giving in to you, you say that he is rude.

If you are fighting for equality, you must accept situations like this. Right?

I would appreciate answers from Asian women because I dont know the practice in Europe, Australia,Africa, and America.

I am a European woman and I don't ask for special treatment like you described in your question. Women are as capable as men of opening doors and standing on the bus. It's old, disabled or injured people and pregnant women who need special consideration and should be stood up for and assisted if necessary (by both men and women, in my opinion). I can also wait in line like everybody else.

Here in Europe (at least where I live) I think women generally don't expect men to both treat them as equals and give them special treatment as gentlemen. Some women here might get thrilled if someone made them feel special by doing those things for them, but they don't generally expect it or demand it.

I should preface this question by stating that, unfortunately, my perspective is that of an American female, rather than Asian. That said -

The three scenarios you give above are all instances in which, although the male's actions may be "equal", women lose out on the preferable outcome (a seat on the bus, a spot in the front of the line, a cab). Of course, while women want equality in a general sense, in specific situations, inequality can lead to preferred outcomes for women. Thus, in these situations, it's favorable for women to accept inequality... so they can have the seat, etc.

Basically, women here are being, in a strictly formal logical sense, hypocritical. But, in this case, being hypocritical is the rational thing to do. They stand to gain a favorable position in many situations in which they are currently not favored, while still maintaining the favorable situations they have. Having their cake and eating it too, so to say.... hope this helps!

Hope that helps!

Part of their desire for total female supremacy, disguised as equality. Feminism is also used by the negative New World Order for enslaving humanity. And, for depopulation (like with e.g. chemtrails, monsanto gmos). That's by dividing the genders, and would be for divide and conquer. One way is by not giving men any equality. They can also come up with indoctrinating lies that men already have rights and privileges.

I have often wondered about these questions myself. My female professional colleagues expects to be exempted from working in some (more dangerous) regions here in Africa. (On the basis that they are women).

They do however receive the SAME pay than me. The danger is also from armed groups, so as a man there is NO WAY I can do more than what a woman wouldbe able to.

Is that equality?

The problem here is you want to avoid any chivalry by starting a debate on what women should and shouldn't accept. Good luck getting a girlfriend.

it's called a double standard. they want to have their cake and eat it too. otherwise they won't have sex with you, as a previous woman replied already. ( those are the women you need to stay away from. - crazy femi-nazis.)

Chivalry leads to sex, ungentlemanliness does not.
