go to google.com>more> and then select google earth.
download it and you got all of earth.
the program pieces together different satellite images from different satellites like a giant panorama kind of photo. some more rural areas may not yet have clear images but they pretty much have the entire earth ready for viewing,

I know that Google, and MSN are fighting over the rights to the satellite pictures, so if you go to either, you might find your answer...
P.S. I think one is called Google Earth...
