Up till now I haven't any foreign friends. Maybe it is because we are saying different languages.But it's Information Age.Why can't we make friends on web with people from another country!

Sure I do, but they're mostly friends I've made in person. I'm from Singapore and some of my foreign friends are from Germany, Malaysia, USA, Australia, among others.
I used to make friends in more countries in the good old days of IRC chatrooms, but these days with MSN and Yahoo IM, I tend to stick to the same few friends, mostly people you already know. This is mostly because existing friends are far less likely to be rude, offensive, predatory and uncouth. Random chats are far more likely to be annoying and tactless people I'd rather not know. Most of those I occasionally encounter are males on the prowl. I instantly block people who give me the dreaded "asl".

I have friends in a number of countries arond the world...many I have known for more than 20 years, long before there was this internet thing.
I have friends in the following countries:
Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, Japan, China, Brazil, Thailand, Japan, Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland, Germany, Spain, France, India, Israel, Australia, Mexico, Canada, Egypt, Kenya, Italy, Greece, South Africa...and a few that travel so much that I couldn't even venture to guess where they might be these days.

The language barrier is very real and troublesome, when we have the technology for good and fast automatic translation (ideally a browser which automatically puts everything in the language it is set to, including image text via image recognition) then maybe it will be closed a bit.
For now we have to make do.

Join orkut and you can make friends from all parts of the worls.
All messenger services and services like Yahoo Answers also help to make friends.

Why not try to learn their language first. Then maybe u can start
to make friends from other countries.

i have a lot of foreign friends ,i had meet them in my school ,also i had searched on the Internet (you have to write on the searching bar "pen pals" you will find a lot of friends from all over the world .
