No crowds.
No driving.
No traffic.
No - finding a place to park in a super crowded parking lot.
No - fighting through the crowded stores just to find out they don't have the 'sale' item.
No - having to carry all your purchases around with you while you look for more presents.
No - having to go to several different stores to compare prices of one item. So much easier on line.
No - pick pockets to worry about snatching your wallet/purse.
No - dragging all your presents into the house, after fighting traffic out of the parking lot and streets back home.
No - husband saying...."So, what did you buy??"
Enough reasons??
It's so much easier!!!
So much less stress!! Can save that for when your credit card bill comes.
Haven't shopped in a mall at Xmas time for five years.

traffic getting to the shopping areas
crowded parking lots, can't find parking
over crowded shopping areas
rude people shopping, pushing shoving,
thieves inside shopping area and outside in parking area,
rapists
carjackers
prices are way to high in most shopping areas
limited types of items
carrying all those items around and then trying to get to your vehicle without being robbed...
did I mention rude people in shopping areas.....
very very long lines
not open the hours you want to shop
then you get to your vehicle to find out it has either been broken into or has scratches on it or someone has hit the side of your vehicle and drove off....
and if you can't find a parking spot, and you park out of the lines, you may get a police ticket...
having to walk from two blocks a way to get the shopping store you want to look in....
all the above is way to much trouble, not to mention being unsafe too...
plus many more I can't think of right now...
good luck

Not having to fight crazy shoppers for that last cashmere sweater sitting on the shelf...
...not to mention that it's just easier to get it over with online...no parking, walking in the rain from the car carrying bags, having cars follow you for your parking space, trying to find your keys with your hands full, other people's screaming kids...*paints picture*
