You DON'T want to say that you don't have a weakness - because you'll sound full of yourself. And don't say "I work too hard" - because you'll sound like a suck up. Think about something that you've improved on recently - something you've turned around. Then - answer the question by saying something like - "Well - just six months ago I would have said that it was my ability to delegate authority - but I worked really hard with my mentor on that - - and I've learned how important it is to let go of some of the control and count on my co-workers and utilize my time in more important ways to benefit the company - and you know, delegating authority is not that much of a problem anymore at all." That way - you admit that you HAD a weakness - but turned it into a positive thing.
There are lots of steps to acing an interview. Be on time - dress professionally - and make sure you've done your homework about the company you want to work for (know about their products, services and history). Bring an extra copy of your resume (that way if they've misplaced it - you have it there for them) But truly - HONESTY is the best way to ace an interview. If you are not honest- you'll wind up in a work situation where you don't feel comfortable - and you don't want that job anyway.

Telling the TRUTH is your greatest weakness. When your future employer asks what you have accomplished in life- they mean your work life - not personal. Be sure to start & end the interview with a firm handshake. Do not fuss with your hair-fidget & before you just jump into an answer- hesitate & answer the questions slowly but meaningfully. Also think postive & you will ace the interview & be clocking in by Wednesday. Good luck.

I always answer the weakness question with something that can be a positive as well. Such as "I'm too much of a perfectionist so I tend to get really focused in on what I'm doing." My friend also likes to use "I sometimes care for people too much so I have to make sure everyone in my team is comfortable before myself." Or something of that nature I'm not sure if thats the right way to do it but it seems to work!
As for general tips, be yourself and try to relax. Come as prepared as you can about the company, its great if you know some facts about the company and job you are hoping for. Look as professional as possible and do not be late. Bring a copy of your resume even if they already have it. Don't forget to sell yourself, highlight your strengths and really explain why they need to hire you. Good luck!

2) What is your greatest weakness?
Be honest - no one is perfect – there is always room for improvement. An
Interviewer does not want to hear “I don’t have any weaknesses.”
If you do not want to classify something as a weakness then state that you
are not satisfied with a particular skill area that you consider being “just
average”.
State that in doing a self-assessment/self-evaluation that you identified a
particular area as needing improvement. It shows initiative, the ability to be
introspective and that you are not willing to become complacent about you or
your job/you do not always need your boss to point things out to you.
Be prepared to answer the question “What would your former boss tell me if I
asked him/her for an area that you needed to improve upon?

Honestly tell them what your weakness is. Dont try to impress them or think u have to be the perfect person without any flaws. What always worked for me is after I tell them what my weakness is I tell them what I do to overcome it. Or what I do to avoid putting myself in a situation that my weakness would be troublesome for them. It will show them you are able to identify a problem, plan and then execute a course of action. That is a big leadership quality you can show you have. This way u might actually come out on top when they are trying to catch you!

Yes I know how it is...I get the same thing.
Choose a "negative" about yourself that turns into a positive. An example would be: "I tend to get so absorbed in my work, I lose track of time."

answering the question "What is your greatest weakness?"
lol...
seriously, if I will be asked that question, it would be, "working too fast, that I tend to overlook small details that I end up redoing the job".
