No, it's not gross. A sexually-considerate ex-boyfriend once told me that he found that kissing the girl after oral was showing her that what she just did for him was wonderful and in no way did he find it gross. The logic is, if he finds it gross for him to touch his own fluids with his mouth, why would he let the woman he loves put it in her mouth?
I think it makes sense, and other partners I've had who were/are considerate do so too, without needing to explain anything. I return the favour too at the appropriate times.
Besides, the resident (benign) bacteria that reside in those regions usually don't cause any trouble when in the mouth.

Well it depends on how comfortable the person is in doing it. Personally I find it gross, I avoid kissing during and after. But hey that is just me.
