leinart was praised to be brilliant vs. the bears and looks to be a seasoned vetetan at times.. vince young was "rose bowl like" vs. the giants. will cutler get the same praise and show the same promise...even though we shouldn't judge rookie qb's this early because it's way too early to tell...

I agree it will take a few games to see what Cutler can do. I think he's going to do pretty good though, he's got a good running game and some good receivers to throw too. As long as he doesn't make stupid mistakes they should win some games, which will earn him some praise.

This one will depend... let's see how he does.. Is it too early to tell? Look at Big Ben Rothlesburg... He's shown his capabilities and everything, I think of the rookie QB's taken this year, it will come down to choosing between Leinhart and Cutler-- I've never been a true fan of Vince Young

I think that will depend on 2 things:
1) Will Shanahan make such a drastic move in the middle of a playoff hunt, I'm not so sure he will but if he does Plummer could just as well pack his bags.
2) If he is the new starter, how does he play. The bar for QBs in Denver is raised awfully high.

It's sort of hard to rate that which hasn't happened. I think that if Jay can come in and hold on to the ball , Not throw touchdown passes for the other team, and not "flip off" the fans in Denver..... Then I think that he will be Idolized just like they are doing to Tony Romo in "Big D". Time will tell. I hope that he does great! I can't take anymore of "Mistake the Fake-Jake" any longer! Go Jay! Go Broncos!

I think he will get the same praise. He proved alot in preseason with his accuracy and arm strength. I don't think he is gonna be an instant fix for what they have going on in Denver but he will make their offense alot more productive

i think cutler will do just fine but this is a big move on denvers part and could cost them a chance at a super bowl run

I still think this is a wrong move. He may do great but they are still in the hunt and this is a big change. I may be way off but thats why I'm not a coach.
