Only if there's a good reason to ask him. If you're at the point where you need to ask your husband if he's telling the truth then there are serious trust issues in the marriage to begin with and it needs to be addressed.

yeah you can always ask but remember if you make it a habit then he will start feeling irritated bcos he is not a criminal. So if the situation demands then do ask.
