Basically a "web log" just slanged into blog. It's a website where you treat it like a journal, but it's publicized and written so people can read it. It's pretty much you talking about your life for other people to see.

All the things the others have told you, plus, in my situation, a way to purge files on my long-suffering laptop whilst I'm traveling. 2-years down, 3 to go...minimum!
I wouldn't share my experiences publicly by choice, but what with excess luggage & restrictions on the number of CD's you can take into countries, I've been forced to take this action.
Blogs can be fun though, so enjoy yours!

An online diary or journal. It doesn't have to be public, you can have them with passworded "private locks" on them.
Yahoo offers blog space with Yahoo 360, or there's Blogger.com, Diaryland.com and heaps of other free places to start one.

it's a personal (usually free) website whereby people post entries about their everyday life or comments etc...it's like an online diary.
personally i prefer blogs than keeping a diary coz it's much faster and easier to interact with your friends, even if there isn't any privacy.
try blogger.com to start creating one...it's free.

Anyone can have one.
You can allow others to add comments too if you wanted.
Either just giving information, or using it as a discussion posting place.
