First, all models can have the same engine options. The main difference is trim & frame options. For example; a 1967 302 RS is faster that a Z28 (SS or not) 305, 350 & some 396 models.

Chevrolet made and makes three types 1,the RS or rally sport edition,usually w/a small block v-8 or 350.Next the camaro which has a v-6 engine or 4.3 and finally the SS or Super Sport w/ the LT1 V-8 350 or w/a 454 or a396 big block urrgh,uurrrgh!Thats the bad boy of them all!!MULLETS NOT INCLUDED!!!!

Alright, there are 3 versions out there
RS, Z28, SS
RS (rally sport)- usuall has 2 different small engines
Z28 - is the V8
SS (super sport)- is the V8 with a few suspension, exhaust and body mods.

camaro(french for commrad or pal)rs is the rally sport
the ss is the super sport. the basic poor mans camaro is the basic 6 cyl option.

a camaro ss has a v8 supercharged i think, a reg camaro has a v6 and a camaro rs is the older model which also comes with a v6
