I have specifically asked not be be put on nights, and here I am. The worst part, I can't just quit. I just relocated here which the company paid $30k for and if I leave now, I have to pay that back. I can leave in 2 years and not have to pay anything.

If "the move" was because YOU wanted to.. Bite your lip because they are trying to fit you in.
If "They" moved you.. Then contact someone higher up and mention you didn't want nights and thats why you moved there.

Was a contract signed and did it have anything in it that stated that you would not have to work nights? Are you protected by a Union? Have you tried to talk with your employer about what you thought was an understanding between the two of you? If you can't quit, then you will have to stick it out.

Just asking to be left of the night shift and having a signed aggreement are two different things. Requests can be denied and even a contract can be broken if it is a slow period or emergencies arise. Stick it out.

I know this may sound rude, but unfortunately the only answer I have is to suck it up and work. I work nights too (and, like you, I hate it) but until another job comes along that will give morning or day hours, there's not much you can do.
