Rainy
Sage
Bison

any other suggestions?

Rainy is actually the name of my friends father in law, who must be at least 60 by now.

Speaking as somebody with a somewhat flaky name, I have to weigh in here and suggest you re-think the idea...

Or -- middle name only, with a very conservative first name (and hopefully mainstream last name).

'Rainy' -- ! Those poor kids...

That said, though, the flower ones are pretty normal. Violet, Poppy, Rose, etc. Just don't try and pull a name out of the garden at random; nobody wants to be called 'Wisteria,' I don't think.

I know a guy named Stormy.

I think when you have a different name like that people will remember you better because of such a unique name.

Don't really like Rain as a name.
REALLY hate the name Tristin (from Legends of the Fall) but that's just my personal opinion!

Good luck!

I really like "Rainn" for a boy's middle name. My best guy friend is German and I think that the name might be of German descent but I haven't looked it up or anything.
