Uhm wait and i dunno why you are taking Ibuprofen 800mg like i think that max you should take is 1200mg and thats alot already, cut back on the ibuprofen go ice your arm for 15 minutes, stretch before and after you play especially after and then ice again.

First off check what type of string your using, make sure its a soft string and not heavy like polylon or big banger. I have had tendinitus. I just always played through it and it got better, but you have to strengthen it. Someone mentioned egoscue that is a very good thing also. I dont know if you have been playing a long time, but i have been playing seriously for the last 5 years. Over the last year i have really tried to step up my game and started playing 2 to 3 hours a day. After a month or so it was like i always had pain. You just have to work through it as long as it isnt serious which tendinitus isnt. If you stop for a week for every nagging pain you will never get to a college level. Eventually your body gets stronger though, and right now im pain free.

If you had tendonitis in your wrist only six days ago, you should give it a little more time before resuming playing tennis. You would want to lightly exercise with it, to not do anything at all would almost be as bad as over exerting it. Tendonitis is inflammation of the tendon. I assume that you are being treated for the condition- taking an anti steriodial inflammatory medication such as aleve, using ice and heat alternatively and possibly wearing a spica splint whenever the doctor specifies. If not, you should consult with one so he can monitor you and tell you exactly when it will be safe for you to return to full mode as far as playing tennis is concerned.

Whether you play or not is not improtant. The important issue to consider is that you definitely have to strengthen your wrist. Work some curls and do lots of flex. In this way, when you come back to play you will not have another (very possible if not worked out) injury. You can also try the miraculous exercises at www.egoscue.com
They did miracles for my knee and wrist.
Good luck!

well it u use any of the above ur just like me lol
yea dont play that quickly
lol i f^^^^ my wrist cuz i waited till it didnt hurt lol the next day it hurt again so just wait 1-2 weeks
cuz if it gets worse it brake
cuz the bone gets weeker so it gets another layer and if it hardens and keeps hardens it will get to a point where it gets so stiff that it breaks FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol
yea dont do that wait

Its always best to wait a little longer just to make sure and not hurt it more.

wait..so ur body can get in good shape again. if u play now, while your still a bit injured, the following reactions can be more serious. so just take your time and rest for now.

Go with what your Doctor says. He will give you better advice then any of us, he has examined your arm, we can't.
