Yesterday is also my favorite. My husband passed away a few months ago and the song just brings back memories of our many good times and special times and how troubles always seemed so far away.
Thanks for the memory of that special song.

I wish I could answer that... I mean, a lot of songs come to mind, of course. But there is a Beatles song that I have been trying to remember for about a week now -- just a vague scrap, not enough to even ask someone what it is. Maybe someone here will say it, that would be so cool...

It's a tie between Ob-La-Dee, Ob-La-Dah and Love Me Do and She Loves You Ya Ya and Hard Day's Night- heck, I just like the Beatles! Ohhhh, wait! Eleanor Rigby is definitely my favourite. But the others are good too.

I didn't care much for the Beatle's but I did like their song "yesterday".
I was more into Elvis and Country.

Kelly's right about Imagine. That is my all time favorite song. They'll play it at my funeral. Here's my Beatles picks.

Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever.
