Cher- Do You Believe In Life After Love, Strong Enough, Takin' Back My Heart
Utada Hikaru- Keep Tryin' (That one's in Japanese and it's very pop-ish and upbeat- it always cheers me up- but if you're used to emo stuff, it could be a little too cheerful for ya =) )
Dixie Chicks- Goodbye Earl (that's country)
Leeann Rimes- One Way Ticket (also country)
Natasha Bedingfield- Single
? - Holding Out For a Hero (it's on the Shrek 2 soundtrack, at least)
Dido- White Flag (I think that's about moving on, but I can never figure her songs out =P)

I hope that helped!

destiny's child - "survivor"
queen - "don't stop me now"
the JT experience - "party like a rock star" which you can get off their site on myspace.com (p.s. this song helped me move on after a break-up earlier this year)
good luck!

Don't listen to love songs anymore, listen to some chill-out music, jazz, and the likes.
Or you can try listening to "I never really loved you anyway" by "The Corrs". Their album is nice too..
