Reading, talking with people who have similar opinions (or who have very different opinions but aren't obnoxious about it), being with my children, a sunny day, or snuggling up in a cozy house on a lousy day. Playing with the cat. Finding a great bargain! Accomplishing something.

In general I feel happy when I'm able to help somebody. When I help someone in a way that they don't even know it...then the happiness is doubled.

Talking to friends that seem as close as family on the internet, having deep discussions, friendly debates or just having a laugh with them. Thinking about them all day, wondering what they're doing, then going back to talk to them and finding out they did nothing at all that was unusual, yet you still found it interesting...
