- I do not believe in not eating [tendency to faint]
- I am not a large person to begin with, I just have developed a bit of a belly due to busy lifestyle/not eating well
- I figure there must be a simple way to lose a small quantity of weight [in the new year I will have more time to excercise] I am not worried about the yo-yo effect.

You most definitely can lose 5 lbs in 20 days. It's been done before. Without exercise though it's going to be very difficult. You will have to manipulate your caloric intake to truly make this work. The best way to lose weight fast has been the low carb diets. Yes it's a fad, and yes you will most likely gain the weight back BUT if you're just focused on losing 5 lbs then perhaps thats the best way to go. Be sure to eat a lot of protein and to also make sure that all your carbs are coming from green veggies. During these 20 days you might want to keep your fruit intake to a minimum also.

Although you claim to not have much time, there must be a time in your day for 10-15 minutes of work. You might feel thats not enough time to get any results but you'd be surprised on what you can accomplish in 10-15 minutes of work.

For example you can start with a brief warmup like jogging in place or just marching for about 2-5 minutes. That will leave you will 11 minutes left. Take into consideration 2-5 minutes for a cool down and you're left with about 6-7 minutes of working out.

What you can do for the 7 minutes would be:

30 seconds of pushups
30 seconds of squats
30 seconds of jumping jacks
30 seconds of alternating lunges

That right there is 2 minutes of work.
Take a 1 minute break and that's 3 minutes.

Repeat once more for another total of 3 minutes.

Right there is a 6 minutes of working out and with a warmup and cool down it would take basically less than 15 minutes to complete.

try to make time, if u really want to do it u will so just try or where ever u are try & make it a way to excercise. lift things or walk alot, etc. u know stuff like that and if it works and u like it keep in touch with it.

do the detox diet,you drink liquids all day[pure lemon aid made weak with honey,limeaid with honey and herbal teas.A salad for dinner[only oil and vinigar for dressing,olive oil mind you]no meats or sweets.no bananas or tomatoes plenty of water.Im starting this diet myself.on the twenteth day you can have baked fish.next day vegetable soup,next ,salad with baked chicken.solid food is gradual.

cut back on your salt intake, drink more water and less soda, try eating fruits for snacks rather than cake or cookies or puddings
