You know what, we spend to much time on the race issues, calling each other names, teaching our children to hate what we don't understand. We have so many people of all races dying of hunger, diseases, killing one another for material things, children being molested and raped. We don't even have a say in what we want, the media is running a muck, and you guys are focusing on comdian and some name calling? I will apologize on behalf the people who called Michael Richard a name that should be up there with the N word. That was ignorant and they should have been bigger than that. But there is so many other things that are going in the world worst than someone calling someone the N word and the C word. Let's talk about how the government don't give a damn about the white race or the black race. They are only concerned about the green race and the oil race what up with tha?

Well it doesnt stop there, look at that Sacha baron cohen guy (who plays the role of borat) making fun of an entire race of people making them look stupid, digusting and backwards. Yet alot of people thought he was so funny. Lets face it, he is getting away with it because we have double standards about racism. If someone went around talking about jews instead of kazakhs everyone would be up in arms over it. Lets face it, any time you are making fun of someone elses culture you are being a racist. Why is it that we love to make fun of everyone under the sun, but if the person happens to be jewish or black, suddenly the joke is racist and unfunny. There is alot of hypocrisy out there and it needs to stop!

I agree with you. If it was a black comedian up there calling a couple white boys "crackers," no one would really care. But if those white boys came back and called the comedian a ni**er, all hell would break loose.

They didn't start out calling him a cracker, they said he wasn't funny. Then he goes off. A comedian is suppose to be able to control the room and handle hecklers. If not they should get off the stage.

Because if your people were slaves a couple of hundred years ago you can play the race card every chance you get.Even if a non-racist tells you to shut up,he/she will be branded a racist.

They were audience members and security should have escorted them out. He was a performer on stage.... and that means he should have controlled himself.

They did start it... but he didn't have to respond in kind. There is a difference in his position and theirs.

Best Wishes,

Sue

I was not there-were you? I don't know if it makes sense to point out that the cracker was called a name also.
