First, check that all of the mixer volumes are turned up and not muted (double click on the volume icon by the clock).
If that doesn't help, some laptops have a separate volume control using the keys. Look for a volume up key (usually in blue) and press it (if the volume key is blue you will also need to be pressing a function or fn key) to change the volume that way, or there may be a volume dial you need to turn.
If both of those don't work, make sure that the message alert sounds are set (and turned up or on if necessary) and that other sounds can be heard.

the problem is frrom the sound settings check them
or try reinstalling the sound driver
