1500 cells side by side means 1500 diameters.
Say diameter of each cell is D, so -
1500D = 1inch = 2.54cm

D = (2.54/1500)cm
1 cm = 10^6 micrometer

Average diamter of single cell = (2.54/1500) * 10^6 micrometer
correct ?

length of 1500 white blood cells are = 1 inch
= 2.54 cm
= 2.54 * 10 mm
= 25.4 mili meters

lenght of 1 white blood cell = 25.4 / 1500 mm
= 0.016933 mili meters
I dont know about a micro meter
if 1 micro meter is 1000 mili meters
then length of a white blood cell is = 0.016933 * 1000
= 16.933 micro meters

2.54 divided by 1500 = 0.00169333333cm,
0.00169333333cm = 16.9333333 [micrometers]
0.00169333333cm = 1 / 0.05905511823 [micrometers]
