i think, yes. a person's like or dislikes can also be explained psychologically, his feelings can be viewed through brain activity, heart beat rate, etc. science is very wide, almost all things can be explained through science. we just have to look for the right branch or study that deals with it.

Science can explain small parts, but is unlikely to ever come up with a truely reliable explanation for love as a whole. There are some aspects that simply transcend mere attempts to pin down and classify scientifically.

I don't think it can be scientifically explained . sometimes you just turn around and fall in love at the first person you see ....... sometimes you fall in love with the person you have been friends with for almost half of your life ......... it happens in so many different ways that it's hard to see any scientific explanation ......

Love is how DNA selects for continuing the species. When we fall in love, we are sometimes attracted by a persons physical attributes, and sometime by their personality; they are funny, or smart etc. Sometimes we luck out, and it's all of the above. By and large, people who are attractive have traits which will help the species flourish.

i can be... i wish it werent and i will never try to... but it can.
that is the ONLY thing i want to leave out of scientific discourse... in my mind.. something has to be "holy" right? not really.. but even the most rational people lift things up above them..
and love is whats so super freakin duper in my mind... i knowingly, falsely, hold it above my ability to reason.
but love is a collection of tiny reactions.. as everything else is... thoughts and feelings are physical events..
i love lamp.

I do not love anyone, and I never will. I think it is mainly becuase my lifetime adeption to scientific literature.
Yes, yes...I've fornicated more than a pornographic movie producer, but love is a mental weakness that was never part of this physiological ritual.
