The Carpathia was the only ship that reached the scene in time rescue any survivors but, what with the ocean drift and wind moving the bodies and the lifeboats at different rates, there weren't any bodies present at the scene of the rescue for her to take on board. The liner Californian arrived shortly after the Carpathia, her exact location during the night is still a topic of controversy, and was instructed to search for bodies as the Carpathia would take the survivors to New York without delay. Her skipper, I believe his name was Lord, said that they searched the area for a full day but could find none.
Despite his claims over the next several days ships passing through the area sighted large groups of floating bodies and different ships picked up several hundred. Those that could be identified, such as John Jacob Astor, were returned to their families for private burial. Those bodies unidentified or known but to God, still several hundred in number, were interred in a graveyard in Eastern Canada at the expense of the White Star Line, the company that owned Titanic, and the graves are still tended to this day with the bill being paid by the Cunard Line, which bought out White Star years later but accepted the obligation honorably.

Yes- there is a Titanic cemetery in Halifax NS. The families that could afford it arranged to have the remains shipped home. However, a lot of the passengers were poor immigrants and were interred in Halifax. Since the film came out, the Titanic cemetery and it's memorial have become a bit of a sombre tourist attraction.
