Wear a tampon and a pantiliner, and wear dark-colored shorts.

Give yourself a break during that time if it bothers you. Excersize at home in private. You won't have the same equipment, but you can do stretches, and even buy some hand weights to work with. It might be a nice change of pace from your regular routine, you will get some exercise, and not worry about it being that time of the month.

Best Wishes,

Sue

What kind of exercise? If you're swimming you shouldn't be in the pool unless you have a tampon.

I used to do martial arts, which was pretty vigorous (in a white uniform!) but never had a problem, ever. At first I'd wear two pairs of underwear (to make sure nothing slip) or shorts under my pants.

Apparently it's recommended not to exercise on the first day or two.

Just skip your first few days or try an alternate workout (jogging or walking outside) if you're so concerned.

Either exercise at home or wear tampons at the gym.

Walk, jog outside, or use those extra pads you girls use. Come on, Olympic athletes run races on their periods, you can do your little routine.
