I'm guessing that they might get wild card....
although I'd love to see them win the division

If they can hang on without Mark Eaton until he returns, they have a shot. Christensen is going to put up some numbers as he gets comfortable with Sid. Fleury is playing like a top 5 goalie right now so anything is possible with that kind of goaltending. I am picking them to sneak in at the 8th position. And remember, Pittsburgh always plays Buffalo tough. It wouldn't hurt getting a Rightie defenseman (losing Jackman was a mistake -- I don't care what anybody says) and picking up GLen Murray would make this team go far into the playoffs...

I love the Pens and hope they get into the playoffs but even if they do not it is a big change from last year and they deserve a pat on the back..I would like to see some trades like Malone or Armstrong. He really needs to step up his game more...Malkin, Crosby and MAF are the Pens, Stall is doing great too!!!

First of all...im getting annoyed at people spelling it stall! Its Staal! JORDAN STAAL. Not like a horse stall.

...getting to the point...

I think they will do alot better then last year with the addition of Evgeni Malkin and Jordan Staal, and because Sidney Crosby is playing really well. Fleury is playing really well as well. Theres a few minor injuries to get over at the moment but im hoping they will jump back! GO PENS GO!

Well their divison is up in the air right now. With only 5 points seperating 1st and 4th, it will be interesting to see who wins it. If they dont win the divison then I see them 7th-9th. They have a ton of guts and play a hard nosed game now, but they really need some scoring from their 3rd and 4th line to have a shot at the playoffs.

I think you have to hang onto Arny because of his excellent penalty killing, but I do agree that he really needs to start getting on the score sheet. A trade for a solid right handed defenseman would make this a very dangerous team.

below the rangers and the devils, maybe above the islanders. im thinking wild card but i would love to see them do well and get far into the playoffs. with crosby being injured recently we've seen that the team needs him to take advantage of their power plays, not just malkin. the malkin-crosby team is practically unstoppable to anyone but the best teams. they need to win some more atlantic division games. but waaay better than last year at least. im thinking its not only because of the better players, but because edzo is gone; therrien is much better.

They sure do look better than last year. With the addition of Malkin this year, they're deadlier. They will make the playoffs this year at eight place. They will the team of the future.

7th or 8th with an outside shot at winning their division but I doubt it. And no, they can't be the Sabres unless Buffalo has a ton of injuries.
