In sports there really is no such thing as clutch only certain performences magnified by circumstance. However Kirk Gibson: In the 84 WS Gibson hit 2HR's in the final gm. His 2nd w/ out and runners art 2nd and 3rd came against HOF CL Goose Goosage. After choosing not to walk Gibson Gibson blasted a 3run shot to put the gm away Playing for the Dodgers in the 1988 National League Championship Series against the New York Mets, Gibson made an improbable catch in left field at a rain-soaked Shea Stadium. Racing back, he slipped on the wet grass, yet on his way down, with his knees on the ground and the rest of his body suspended, he reached out and made a full extension catch to save a Mookie Wilson double in Game 3. In Game 4, he hit a solo home run in the top of the 12th that ended up winning the game for the Dodgers. In Game 5, he hit a two-out three-run homer in the fifth; the Dodgers ended up winning the game 7-4. In Gm1 of the 88 World Series despite an injured hamstring that would only allow him 1 AB Gibsonn pinch hit iin the 9th inning of Gm1 w/the score tied and belted an impossible HR off HOFer Dennis Eckersly to give LA the win Honorary Mention: Reggie Miller, like LeBron could ake over a series only seemed to happen every yr

Tom Brady is by far NOT the greatest athlete ever.. Tomlinson is better.. Vince young is better.. Barry Sanders was better.. Emmit Smith was better. Jim Brown was better.. But the greatest athlete of all time is no contest Bo Jackson, he is hands down the greatest athlete of all time.

Not even close! Athlete wise, many of the responders have listed "great athletes". If you're trying to suggest greatest quarterback...again, he's got a long way to go.
There are many fine quarterbacks, and there are "favorites" whom responders will say are great. I think you would have to look at the big picture then. There is Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas, Dan Marino, and the list could go on.

Are you joking? Hes hoestly probably about the 30th best athlete on his team. Not 30th best player, 30t best athlete. You really think he has a good 40 time or can bench 400 lbs? lol. Hes a smart overrated qb. Not even one of the better atletes at the qb position.

If you base it on that loss to the Jets a few weeks ago I would not. Although I never saw him Jim Thorpe seems like he is still the greatest athlete. NOT SECRETARIAT OR JORDAN!
