It is way too expensive!! They charge so much for everything in the park, so I don't think they are short on funds....i.e. "maintenance" mentioned before. It might be to keep people from just hanging out, like at the mall. Like the ones who don't really buy anything, they just hang around.

Have you any idea of what it costs to build the attractions at a park? If the entrance fees aren't high enough to pay for them, and the regular maintenance required, there is no park, period.

The park's liabilty insurance is outrageous. Also think of what it would cost if you had to pay to ride on every ride and pay to see the shows. I took my kid to the county fair and it cost a lot more than going to an amusement park.

they charge the price that they feel like they can get away with, usually people go to to an amusement park seldomly, so its an experience, most dont even think that its expensive cause they prolly took an airplane to get there, and its just the price they must pay.

It costs millions to own, maintain, and pay the employees of an amusement park.
If they didnt charge you so much they would be losing all of that on a daily basis.
