It could be cystitis - an irritation of the urethra, the tube that empties the bladder, by bacteria.
If it's something like that, the best thing to do is drink a lot of water every day, whether it's troubling you or not. At least 6-8 glasses of water, as well as whatever else you normally drink.
Some people find cranberry juice is good for the bladder also.
Be sure to empty your bladder properly when you go to the loo. The best way to do that is to sit back on the seat, and lean against the cistern/wall behind you. If you lean forwards, you may not be emptying properly.
Always clean from front to back after using the toilet - bacteria from the back passage getting into the urethra is the most common cause of cyctitis. Be thorough with your cleaning.
Go to the loo immediately after sex, to pass water, this should clean most of the bacteria out of your bladder and urethra. Wash after sex also.
Go along to the doctor on Friday anyway, even if you feel better by then, to exclude any other type of infection or problem.

Drink plenty of water to get rid of it the cause could be bacteria from the bottom area. The reason you can feel it round the back is because it might now be a kidney infection.

Drink lots of water and lay off caffeine. Try cranberry juice or tablets (from ealth food store). Always empty your bladder before and after sex and ensure you and partner wash well before and after sex too. Try to avoid using normal soap to wash your genital area, just plain water or a genital wash. If it gets any worst, ie extreme pain, blood or pain in your lower back make an emergency appointment to see your Dr. to get antibiotics.
