According to this passage about the Salem Witch Trail, which is true?
The Salem witch gysteria began when several girls accused some other people of being witches. The main reason that the girls were believed and that the hysteria spread was that there were so many dispute between neighbors in the village. Neighbors went to court and testified against people they didn't like or people they were having a quarrel with. For example, John Putnam testified that George Burroughs was a witch, and Putnam thought Burroughs had helped cause his wife's death. These people as well as many others had reasons to accuse people of witchcraft for revenge.
A - Many of the settlers believed that there was evil all around them, this caused them to be concerned about neighbors who appeared to enjoy life too much.
B - What started as truly witchcraft, eventually became a " witch hunt".
C - Many people used the charge of witchcraft as a means to settle disputes against neighbors favorably for themselves

Anyhow: 1-D "no taxation without representation": the colonies had payed a large amount, in taxes to England, for the seven years war, and were seeking to have representation in the British parliament.

2-A The pilgrims settled in what will become New England. They were escaping their motherland because of harsh religious conditions for them. In Plymouth colony they created a settlement where they could profess their very own believes, but it was far from being a democratic government (especially for women: cfr "The scarlet letter").

1: england had so many problems with the colonies because they had been left to govern them selfs for so long and then england wanted to rule them once agian and told the colonis they could not expand. and said they could only buy british goods so they could impose the new taxes

2. the pilgrims landed in plymoth because the ship was blown off course in a storm and was running low on supply's along with half the pilgrims being sick they had no no choice but to land
there and they made the mayflower compact before they set off

3 is c and that is what made the British say that they could only buy British made goods because they were worried that the American goods would bankrupt the British merchants since so many brits were buying American goods

4 the selem witch trials were mostly because of people not getting along
