i have bought ipod nano and i can not switch it on i have tried everything but it is not responding can u help

did you charge it first? If so, try just plugging it into the wall and restarting it(hold the middle button and menu), it should turn on

Is the battery fully charged since you purchased it. Also go to apple.com.
