Last month I had a really heavy period, much heavier than usual. I haven't been on the pill in about 4 or 5 months now but we have been using condoms consistently. I keep track of my cycle and it's been pretty consistent but before I was on the pill it was a little irregular but no missed periods.
I took an at home pregnancy test 7 days after my expected date of my period, negative and another one 3 days later, still negative. I heard the hormone that it detects is supposed to double every few days if I'm pregnant but both were negative.
I have no signs of being pregnant at all, just a little bit bloated as I always am before my period and just tonight I notice a very very very little bit of spotting. What is going on with me?
I am going to try to see the doctor tomorrow (if I can get an appointment) but has this ever happened to anyone before? Could I be pregnant?

i was just searching other similar questions and found that it could be due to stress... and i've been stressed like mad over midterms these days, the spotting was definitely odd though it was more of a reddish discharge though

I'd get the blood test done. People can have implantation bleeding around the time their normal period would have happened.
