I have developed a method of drawing eigenvectors geometrically and i want to publish it.?

Actually I have deveoped a simple and fast method by which one can draw eigenvectors geometrically, if the matrix( second and third order) is given. However, I am not sure wheather this method is already known. if not, then I will prefer to publish it, but also not sure where to publish(the name of the journal), because I am from non-mathematics background(did masters in geology). Please help.

Well the only think is I could ask my College Professor to take a good look at it, and then if is known bad luck but if not he'll be the judge of that and you'll know so you can publish it.
