I've been trying to teach myself bass for over a year and have ended up with absolutely no skill and completely bored. Looking for reccomendations, and I want a human. If I wanted online lessons, I wouldn't be asking here.

The teacher person should be first and foremost a bassist, not a guitarist/keyboardist/whatever who decided [s]he could teach bass. Lessons should be cheap. Please only respond if you've actually taken lessons with the person.

Well, I know that you want a bass teacher that you can meet in person, but I know that you can get started by yourself and learn a great deal before actually "needing" a person.

I'd be happy to help you get started learning what you need, step by step, no cost.

If you want to, just write me via my profile.

Try Eric Clapton and don't forget to tell him that I sent you.
