I was given to understanding for purpose.... and it was this particular book that taught me what I needed to know to understand it better.... No other.....

But, I admit, when times are difficult, or hard, I waiver in thought as to whether God exists and/or is real...... Or why would I go through such terrible things if He loved me so......

Yet, even when I get to that point, that I waiver, something reminds me of what it is that I am made of..... and when I think of that, and when I think of what I know, it is doubt that is waived and it never stays long......

I wholly believe that God exists..... Because I know who I am..... Not that I am God.... Nay!!!..... But, because I am made in His image.... and His image exists that I understand Him........

it is something to think about...... That is why we think..... Because of Him...... That breath of Life that is..... when it is not within us.... We surely die!!!!!

I am a Christian and a scientist. I don't believe everything that happened in the Bible. I am more liberal in my ideas than many Christians. There are a lot of scientists that don't accept God because they can't use the scientific method to find God. There are also many believers that don't believe in a lot of valid science because they don't understand it.

I prefer to take the middle ground. I receive knowledge through faith and through science. When there are supposed contradictions, I say that "I don't know" the truth, and I wait until either my faith or science provides me with the truth.

I have to be careful about science because of our limited understanding. Look at our understanding of Physics. We have a long way to go before we understand the universe, but there have always been a lot of theories. Isaac Newton used the scientific method to understand the universe around him. There were many people that thought that the laws he proposed were perfect, but after Mickelson and Morley’s experiments trying to find ether, and Einstein’s work of interpretation of those experiments, and many people’s work with quantum mechanics we now know that we don’t know how the universe works.

I also have to be careful with my faith. If we look at history, we can see that there are a lot of religions with a lot of contradicting teachings. We also see a lot of evil performed in the name of religion. I have chosen a religion that I believe holds the answers to truth which is why I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

I honestly do not believe in god. I do believe that everything happens for a reason and everything will work out how it should be, but it is not because one man/one god is up above the clouds somewhere controlling everything like a puppetmaster.

When I was younger, my mother would take me to church as a catholic and I never understood what the preist was saying or anything and when I tried to listen, it didnt make sense to me. I purely went to church before just because I had no power not to go because my mother controlled.

Now what your telling me, is that a god is controlling everything I do and how I feel and think about certain situations? I dont believe that. I believe all the things that happen to me are self caused and inflicted only by myself. You can't blame others for your mistakes or your sufferings and you can't expect someone to be there to lift you when you need a boost. You have to give yourself a boost and it will make yourself stronger as a person. Be satisfied with what you do in YOUR LIFE, you only get one and don't try to configure it around one certain religon or belief. All you have is yourself when it's all said and done.

Oh.. a sensitives ground, I had never really believe in God, but I do accept all religion teaches good to those believe in them. Personally, I believe I am what I am, otherwise, I will be blaming God for all the pain, disappointment, unhappiness... that I have endured so far in my life.
I believe God is created by our ancestor, so that they can explain all the unknown elements by saying that it is the will of God, and that they can have a yard stick to follow in their lives, and that of their descendant.

I know God is real and my interactive relationship with God is the centerpiece of my life. It does not matter if the Bible contains errors as I believe it does. There is an overabundance of untruths made by falible men that serve as a gauntlet hampering our journey to know and experience the "Kingdom of God." We are nevertheless living, breathing images of God. It is the destiny of each of us to fulfill in our own way the flowering of our own spirits in our own unique way so that we may return to God as a spiritual being that is a wiser, kinder, more loving and in all other ways a closer representation of God who made us in his/her image.

I believe that some things in the bible did happen, there is some truth in it, however I believe that man made God.

Man needs something to be afraid of something unknown, and he made god.

Rumi on God--
“He is a letter to everyone. You open it. It says, ‘Live!’”

yeah i beleive in God, a God that is all merciful instead of one who desires human life to be lived miserably according to hermetic and outdated religious laws. Noone knows the true nature of God, but he is in some way closer to you that your own jugular veins. But the Intellect alone cannot take you there, but one have to surrender with love to the wonders of the universe to see this.

I'm not religious, or spiritual or any of that funky stuff, i just try to beleive in what i can prove and rationalize. That is good enough for me.

God is much more real than you are.

You, and I, are just a 99 year flash in the pan in this universe ... if we're lucky. We are specs of almost nothing, we couldn't reach the nearest star in our lifetimes even at the speed of light.

Yet there is something in us that is much more than our physical reality. What do you think it might be?

Yes, I know that God is real. I feel that some of the events did occur and some of the events described are metaphoric.
